Frequently Asked Questions
For venue owners & developers considering Serreva Glasshouses
Investment
& Fit
What is the typical investment for a Serreva glasshouse?
Our work is commissioned by venues operating at the upper end of the market. Investment varies based on scale, customization, and site conditions, though most projects begin in the high five-figure range and extend into the mid six figures and beyond.
Is Serreva the right fit for every venue?
No. We work with clients seeking to elevate their property through permanent, architecturally significant additions. If the priority is cost-minimization or temporary structures, we are not the appropriate partner.
Design & Customization
Are your glasshouses custom?
Entirely. While we do have several designs more readily available, each structure is designed in response to the property, its architecture, and the experience it is intended to create. Virtually every feature, including size, is customizable to your vision.
Can you align with our existing aesthetic?
Yes. Our work is designed to integrate seamlessly or elevate what already exists.
Will we see designs prior to construction?
All clients receive detailed models and renderings. Final structures, finishes, and specifications are approved prior to fabrication.
Timeline
& Process
How long does a typical project take?
Projects generally range from 5 to 14 months, depending on complexity, permitting, and site readiness.
Can you work toward a specific opening date?
No—we do not overpromise. As a turnkey provider, timelines are governed by payment progression and site readiness. When aligned, execution proceeds with precision.
What does the process involve?
Every Serréva glasshouse is built through a carefully structured progression — from first conversation to final installation. Here’s what to expect:
Discovery: We begin with a dedicated consultation to understand your vision, site requirements, and timeline. This is where we listen before we build.
Design: Our design team develops your structure from the ground up — base architecture, glass dimensions, ironwork detailing, frame color, glass tint, and door specifications — ensuring every element reflects your aesthetic and functional goals.
Engineering: Our engineering team works in close coordination with you and your contractors to prepare all foundation and HVAC documentation for permitting, keeping your project on track from day one.
Fabrication: The most time-intensive phase begins with your approval. We craft each component in-house — structural steelwork, intricate decorative ironwork, and precision powder coating — before your glasshouse takes its final form. (Note: galvanizing is completed by our trusted specialist partners.)
Installation: Our team travels worldwide to bring your glasshouse to life on-site. Prefer to work with your own builders? We offer on-site technical support at a fraction of the cost — ensuring expert oversight without the full-service price.
Installation
& Logistics
Do you install nationwide?
Yes, across the United States and select international locations.
Do you handle site preparation?
Site preparation is the client’s responsibility, though you are never navigating it alone. We work closely with your team throughout, coordinating with your concrete, electrical, and plumbing contractors to ensure every trade is aligned with our design specifications before work begins.
If you prefer to use a local contractor for installation, we provide on-site technical support for a defined period — offering expert guidance at a reduced cost while keeping the build to our exacting standards.
Can this integrate into an existing venue?
Most of our work enhances established properties rather than new builds.
Can this integrate into an existing venue?
Typically, our installation takes 4-6 weeks per 1,000 square feet.
Climate &
Year-Round Use
Are the structures suitable for year-round use?
Yes — without exception. Every structure is engineered for its specific climate, designed for full four-season use from the outset. This includes custom-specified HVAC and ductwork integrated into the design, not added as an afterthought.
How do they perform in extreme conditions?
Our structures are engineered to endure. We specify high-performance glass (8–16mm tempered, low-E) and precision-engineered steel systems tailored to the demands of each site and climate.
For those in severe weather regions: our glasshouses are rated for sustained winds of 150 MPH and gusts exceeding 200 MPH. Our glass thickness provides hail resistance that matches anything available on the market, and depending on roof pitch, our structures accommodate snow loads of one to three feet.
Built for the world as it actually is — not ideal conditions.

If you prefer to use a local contractor for installation, we provide on-site technical support for a defined period — offering expert guidance at a reduced cost while keeping the build to our exacting standards.
Permitting
& Compliance
Do you assist with permitting?
We provide engineering documentation and guidance. Submission and approval remain the client’s responsibility.
Who ensures compliance?
We collaborate with local professionals to meet all applicable codes and requirements.
Maintenance
& Longevity
What maintenance is required?
Minimal. Primarily routine glass cleaning and standard HVAC system upkeep.

Working
With Serreva
What distinguishes Serreva?
We approach each project as architecture, not product.
With over 16 years of engineering experience, our work is defined by structural integrity, material quality, and restraint.
We build exclusively with hot-dip galvanized structural steel and high-performance glass—materials chosen for permanence, not convenience.
What is expected from the client?
Engagement during design and planning. Beyond that, we guide the process.
Final Consideration
A Serreva glasshouse is not an addition—it is a long-term architectural investment.
For venues seeking distinction, permanence, and elevated positioning, it becomes foundational to the property itself.
